with daughter in 2000

My Name Now:
Wendy Ferrell

Location:
Hell! Ok, Ridgecrest, CA is really just the doorway to hell (affectionately known as such because the streetlights spell out "HELL" as you are flying overhead at night).

Marital Status: just married - for the second time in 2003

Children: in 2003: 1 girl (6) and 4 boys (15, 12, my step son is 16, and my husband is.... oh wait, I don't think I was supposed to count him).

Have you or would you let your kids see Rocky: My boys have seen it. Fortunately I am locking my daughter up until she's 30 so I don't have to worry about her yet.

What I'm doing these days: I've been in the Navy for 10 years. We just bought a house (yes, in Hell) and are settling there until the Navy moves us again. My time is pretty tied up with my family and the yard that needs to be landscaped, but I still love to perform and sing, and I do so regularly---even though I have all but given up on being "discovered". Aside from being a busy mom, wife, and sailor, I am working on my degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in History. I have always been known for burning the candle at both ends and can't imagine life any other way.

People from Rocky I've kept in touch with: I am still in contact with Ron Spellman (my ex-husband and father of my 15 and 12 year old sons), Monica Boutte (now Rippe) and Michelle Tarner.

Why I first went to Rocky: Ron Spellman and Lee Hartley talked Monica Boutte and me into going. We were hooked after the first time -sex, drugs, and rock and roll are very addictive.

How I started performing: a bunch of us started working on the scenes together and shadowed the older cast occasionally until they left.

Food I ordered after the show: coffee at Winchell's followed by Carol Matlock's delicious (and huge) breakfasts.

I last performed: in 1987

I last saw Rocky: sometime in the 90's

Did I buy the Rocky DVD? I only have the ancient VHS that we used to start learning it in 1985.

My favorite Rocky memories: Pick one! They were mostly good, but I suppose my favorite is being thrown in the air as Columbia.
