My Name Now: Rochelle Canfield

Location: La Mesa, CA

Marital Status: married (believe it or not - to the same guy since 1993)

Children: two - a girl (age 11 in 2005) and a boy (age 8 in 2005)

Have you or would you let your kids see Rocky: they've seen snippets of it (that Halloween thing on what, VH-1?) Otherwise, I don't think I'd forbid it.

What I'm doing these days: I work in the editorial department for a magazine publisher. Right hand to the head-honcho and sometimes they let me play editor (I have a red pen and I ain't afraid to use it!) Otherwise - hubby, kids, pets and home keep me pretty busy. I still hike and dance. I still love old musicals. And I'm still slighty crazy, a bit hyper and generally a smart-ass... some things never change.

People from Rocky I've kept in touch with: unfortunately, no. The last time I saw anyone from Rocky, it was Ike Fifield and that was ... mmm ... 1992?

Why I first went to Rocky: It's a blur! I don't recall. Scary but true. Looking back, it just seems that it was always there. I remember that when I first started going, I sat way in the back - hiding in a corner. Then I just slowly moved closer.

How I started performing: It was one of those "we're short a cast member" things. I had come with a group of friends one Halloween - all in costume - and Anthony Pearce had made the invite to join in sometime. I kept hanging back until that one day when Janet didn't make it.

Food I ordered after the show: Since I was usually broke, it was whatever I could get anyone to order for me; terrible to admit, but, hey, I was a kid with no job.

I last performed: 1991 - Sacramento - favor for a friend. Bless his ever-lovin' heart.

Before the reunion, I last saw Rocky: 1991. Seen bits and pieces since then, but never the whole thing.

Did I buy the Rocky DVD? Nope

My favorite Rocky memories: Do I have to pick one? Sorry. Not doing it. The silliness. The people - who were just as whacked and just as messed up as you were. The acceptance. Playing Janet the first time Ike Fifield played Frank (and Lisa Eckert's big set-up for that night.) My buddy Clifford keeping the bad guys away. Losing my top during the floor show. Being tossed in the air by Mike. More nights than I care to count sleeping on someone's couch because it was too late (or too early) to go home. That kiss behind the tank. Bottom line - Rocky is a part of my past, my history. It was a time in my life when I was not sure who I really was. It defined a time of my life; it defined me for a time. It taught me lessons that are hard to learn - about life, friendship and love. And all the while, I got to run around in sexy underwear! Hey! What's the down side here?
