Location: Oakland, CA (but I'm a 49ers fan)

Marital Status: happily married to a charming Latina named Dawn

Children: I have two: an honor-student 15 year old girl and a delightful 2 year old girl (in 2004). How lucky can I get?

Have you or would you let your kids see Rocky: Not yet, but I will probably take her someday just to embarrass her. It's better than her sneaking into nightclubs

What I'm doing these days: I sell eyeglasses in the middle of Berkeley - it's a very strange town. I had a brief roadie gig for a karaoke M.C. outfit (what a joke that was). I've been to several Renaissance Fairs (in costume of course).

People from Rocky I've kept in touch with: Well, you know how it goes. I did help Anthony move in with Zanna back in Santa Cruz.

Why I first went to Rocky: my early RHPS memories are a bit fuzzy

How I started performing: Well, at first I was one of those kids in the back rows with a water pistol and the toast making a racket and a mess .Then I noticed the front rows were full of half-naked girls. Duh. I filled in as Brad and took over as Eddie. This was before The Ken. This was in the Manor Theater in San Mateo and then we took over the Old Mill Theater in Saratoga.

Food I ordered after the show: Winchell's was the place, but I would sometimes buy a one pound bag of M & M's and (reluctantly) share with everyone while sitting on the tables. That was often more fun than the show. Those bonfires on the beach were great also.

I last performed: It's been a few years, but I still haven't sworn off performing. In 1996, U.C. Santa Cruz had a showing in one of those small multi-purpose rooms; it was great. We did it "old-school." I played Eddie and pulled a cast together from the people in line. Limited props, just flashlights, It was primitive and wonderful.

I last saw Rocky: I saw a video copy of a copy of a pirated bootleg. It was so fuzzy, I got a buzz watching it.

Did I buy the Rocky DVD? Yes, but just for the awesome freeze-frame. What I want is a copy of VH1 Karaoke Night. Jack from Will and Grace did Frank but I missed it dammit!

My favorite Rocky memories: So many how do I start? There were those really fun hot summer nights when the cooling system was on the fritz. So many people stripped to their skivvies you couldn't tell who was cast. Switch gender nights that evolved into simply bizzaro nights: Frank as Groucho Marx (Anthony Pierce), Riff as Harpo Marx (Dan), Columbia as Marilyn Monroe (Sue), Rocky as Rambo or Tarzan, Eddie as Frankenstien, Janet as Dorothy and then it really got silly! One great part was when the show got just random; there was a bunch of guys like GoGo and Ford Prefect who were always up for new stuff like running around barking after Rocky like they'd "just released the dogs". These guys and me loved to torment the unflappable Shea Paula White. (the best female Frank on the planet). When She would sing "as it clung to her thigh", I would run up and attach myself to her. She would never break character, so after a while this became a challenge and more and more guys would join me in my lamprey impersonation until, after a couple of months, there was a pile of guys at her feet and she was still struggling to keep a straight face and finish the damn song. Eventually four of us clung to her thigh and picked her up and carried her up the aisle and out of the theatre. It was so frikking funny!!! I think the bruises on my skull have just now healed. That unbound creativity is hard to recapture.

Thanks to you for this project. Thanks to all my freaky friends for providing a wonderful time and thanks for taking my mind off of my day-to-day grind as a USN sailor.
