My Grandparents

Although I lost one grandfather to cancer while still very young, I had the great fortune to have the remaining three well into my 20's. I didn't see them very often as they lived in Indiana and did not travel in later years. I visited them in '96 and it was the last time we were all together. One grandmother moved out to California and into a nursing facility close to my parents and my father's parents remained in Indiana. In 1999, my father, sister and I visited them on their farm; it would be the last time I saw my grandfather as he died several months later. My grandmother passed less than a year after that while visiting my father in California. I love and miss them all very much.

This is my immediate family with my father's grandmother. I honestly don't remember her name - we always called her Grandma Great (and she was).
